Conscience and the Constitution

Join us at the Fife History Museum in the Dacca Barn for a showing of Frank Abe’s award winning film, Conscience and the Constitution.  The hour long film reveals the long-untold story of the organized draft resistance at the American concentration camp at Heart Mountain, Wyoming, and the suppression of that resistance by the wartime Japanese American Citizens League (JACL).  Following the film, listen in on a panel discussion including Frank Abe, local historian Ron Magden, JACL Puyallup Chapter President Elsie Taniguchi, and lawyer Daniel Russ which will then open for public questions.  Snacks and beverages will be available at this free event.  For more information, visit the Fife History Museum’s event page.
