Job Carr Cabin Museum

Home of Tacoma’s First Settler!

Job Carr Cabin Museum is a little log cabin with a big heart. Nestled in lovely Old Town Park, the cabin is a warm, cozy place to step back in time. An authentic replica of the one built by the first permanent, non-native settler in 1865, it has all the comforts of home. Children and adults enjoy the hands-on activities offered inside this gem. Come visit us to learn how Job Carr and his family literally put Tacoma on the map!
